ReA! Art Fair Returns: The Only Fair in Italy Dedicated Exclusively to Contemporary Emerging Artists
ReA! Art Fair, Italy’s only contemporary art fair designed exclusively for emerging artists—free from the constraints of galleries and institutions—returns for its highly anticipated V edition from June 12 to 15, 2025. This milestone year marks an exciting upgrade: breaking from its traditional autumn slot, the fair moves into the summer season, taking place at OPOS, a dynamic space in the heart of Milan’s Certosa District.
Founded by two female entrepreneurs Maryna Rybakova and Pelin Zeytinci, ReA! Art Fair is organized by ReA! Arte, a non-profit cultural association committed to democratizing access to contemporary art. This year’s edition offers a rare opportunity to experience fresh, bold voices from the international art scene in an inclusive and barrier-free environment.
A Curated Selection of 50 Visionary Artists
For its fifth edition, ReA! Fair refines its vision. From over 500 global applications, a board of expert curators — Maria Myasnikova, Erica Massaccesi, Rita Meschiari, Valeria Conti, Milena Zanetti, and Vittoria Martinotti — has carefully selected 50 exceptional artists, shifting from the previous 100, to provide a stronger, more focused narrative and enhance visibility for each artist.
Spanning diverse media and disciplines, the showcased works will explore the limitless potential of contemporary art, positioning ReA! Fair as a meeting point for collectors, art enthusiasts, and industry professionals eager to discover the next generation of artistic talent.
Since its inception, ReA! Arte has worked to redefine the contemporary art market, providing emerging artists with direct exposure and fostering connections with audiences, collectors, and institutions—without traditional intermediaries. Through ReA! Fair and an expanding lineup of Special Projects, the organization has cemented itself as a driving force for cultural innovation and accessibility in the arts.
ReA! Fair challenges the conventional art fair model, which is typically dominated by galleries and commercial interests, by creating a direct-to-artist market, allowing visitors to engage with artists firsthand, understand their creative processes, and directly support their work. Over the years, ReA! Arte has become a catalyst for contemporary visual culture, offering artists a career-defining platform while nurturing an engaged and inclusive art ecosystem.
A New Space for a New Era: OPOS as the 2025 Venue
This year, ReA! Fair finds a new home in OPOS, a former electromechanical factory transformed into a hub for experimentation, design, and artistic innovation. Founded in 1990 by Alberto Zanone, OPOS embodies a forward-thinking, community-driven approach, rejecting purely commercial production in favor of avant-garde research and sustainable creative practices.
With deep-rooted ties to design, architecture, and textile innovation, OPOS is a natural fit for ReA! Fair’s vision—an environment where creativity flourishes beyond conventional market constraints and where contemporary art is experienced as a living, evolving conversation.
